Today I’m very proud to present the new version 3.0 of Priorities App. It is the next big step in improving this new kind of utility app and I’m looking forward to your feedback about it.
Priorities App was created to solve one little but so important goal: To help you to organize your priorities. My intention was to create an app that solves exactly this one little task; no more, no less. But this doesn’t mean that there aren’t no further functions I could put into the app to improve the management of your priorities. So, I put a little but great new feature into version 3.0 of Priorities App.
You’re now aible to transform all your priorities into tasks. The app still works exactly the same as before, but not only can you now order your priorities but also prioritize your tasks. This is a great improvement and also an idea you – the customers – have told me that would be great to see within the app. And so – here we are!
I’ve implemented this functionality as easy as possible. That means that the app doesn’t differentitate between priorities and tasks; you just tell the app which kind you want to use for every specific priority list. If you choose priorities, nothing changes. But if you switch to tasks, you’ll also get a little round button which allows you to mark a task as solved.
So now Priorities App is even more than a tool to prioritize the things that are important to you. It’s an app that allows you to prioritize your tasks and to work on them like you know it from other todo apps.
But I also need to say at this point that this todo feature doesn’t replace (for now) other full-valued todo apps. I don’t want to change this unique feature that Priorities App offers, and that is to prioritize things (and now also tasks) which are important to you. I’ll may expand this todo functionality further in the future, but the main focus of the app won’t change.
I really like this little improvement because it fits so great into the experience and the unique problem which solves Priorities App. I’m also doing my best to get your ideas, suggestions and wishes into the app so I’m very glad that this new feature is now part of Priorities App; a feature that you told me would be great to be within the app.
Version 3.0 is currently on its way to the App Store and should be released within the next hours. I would love to hear what you think about the new task feature and the app itself and I’ll also listen to you if you have any ideas or suggestions for the app; just write me an email to email@example.com.
So far from my side, I whish you a wonderful start and all the best for the new year 2015. 🙂
